Travel the World with Beau

I grew up in England and moved to the United States when I was nearly twenty-two. What began as one big adventure became forty-one years of life in America.

I raised my family in Michigan, built a home, and later began a completely new chapter as a full-time traveller and nomad. I sold the house, kept what I needed, and discovered that the more I travel, the less I seem to need.

The places on this website are not random settings. They are inspired by countries I have visited, loved, photographed and remembered — Romania, Malta, Iceland, Patagonia, Tallinn and many more.

Beau does not travel the world in real life, but in the books he does. I write these stories for my granddaughters and for young readers everywhere, hoping they encourage children to explore, learn and dream.
